History

Dashwood Brewer & Phipps Ltd can trace its history back over eighty years and has been a Lloyd's Broker for over thirty years.

In 1983 Dashwood Brewer & Phipps Ltd acquired Dashwood Wildenberg & Co. Limited, an associated company specialising in direct aviation and aviation reinsurance, and purchased a freehold property, "Independent House". The building was completely rebuilt and the Company has remained in situ ever since.  
In October 1996, there was a Management Buy-out by six members of the Board of Directors and in January 1999, the Company acquired Russell Tudor-Price & Company Limited, which provided an expanding Non-Marine Account and expertise in a number of niche products.
